Environmental Policy
As part of our environmental management program, we have established the following environmental policy that covers the environmental impact of our manufacturing operations and pledge our commitment in striving to continually improve our environmental management system to meet environmental requirements.
We have total commitment to meet Environmental Policy as follows:
| a) Fulfillment of Compliance Obligations : | To fulfill compliance obligations determined from interested parties that relate to environmental aspects. |
| b) Environmental Protection : | Implement climate change mitigations and pollution prevention within financial and technological capabilities. |
| c) Continual Improvement : | Continually improve the environmental management system to enhance environmental performance. |
Our environmental program ENV001 for procuring environment-friendly materials and services was implemented as part of our effort to ensure that all suppliers of Sumitomo are aware of our environmental concern and to encourage them to participate actively with us in our continuous effort to be part of the growing community of environmentally conscious citizen of planet Earth.
